8PM Mike Vial (Ann Arbor, MI; Singer/Songwriter)
Mike Vial is a singer-songwriter from Ann Arbor, MI. He discovered his love for music as a kid when he found a guitar at a family member’s house and gave it a strum; since then, he has never put a guitar down. Mike’s music captures his appreciation for classic songwriters (like James Taylor, Jim Croce, and Cats Stevens) and new American voices (like Ari Hest, Ben Gibbard, and Ryan Adams).
9:15PM Pat Hull (Chico, CA; Soul Singer/Songwriter)
Pat Hull's lyrically and vocally charged songwriting "goes in the direction of gently reinventing the genre rather than obeying its exhausted axioms" (Deli Magazine). Pat discovered and honed his craft in Chico, CA and returned to Brooklyn in 2010. In 2011, Pat, Michael Chinworth, and Jason Beck began a collaboration that would eventually produce "Light" and "Shed Skin." His latest effort, 'In the Yellow Room,' was recorded in live time with band mates Mark Robertson and Bob Reynolds, and engineered by Peter Rodocker at Yellow Room Recording, in Portland, OR.
